I created a yelp account, just to give these guys a 5 star review. I work near by and had a flat tire, so I stopped by hoping someone would be available to change it for me. Without an appointment near the end of the day I assumed it'd be about $50 and an hour of my time. Jonathan helped me immediately and wouldn't even accept payment for changing my tire. The best part was I wasn't waiting more than 10 mins. I can't really understand how these guys get any negative reviews, it was pretty clear to me that these guys have great customer service. I will definitely be back for repairs from now on.

You know the feeling when you go back to a place and everybody knows your name? it's a good one. I love Modesti's. I first discovered them when I lived in nearby Mar Vista and had just bought my Toyota Matrix. I had been misadvised (and overcharged) by a local dealer to spend money to reset my "Check Engine" light. Oops. Silly me. I forgot to screw the gas cap on all the way. And Modesti's just told me, "Just drive it for a few hundred miles and the light will go off". And that was it. I have been going to them for 6 years. I was just there again today to get my regular oil change and will be back to do more extensive service in the next month or so. I love John and Danny who work at the front desk. And the shuttle service to take me to/from work or wherever I need to go is great. My goal is to support locally owned businesses, and this is the car care shop that I wish would become a big business, just so I could visit them wherever I am in the country.
