Silicon Beach Auto Repair

When I first moved to LA years ago, my Accord was having some problems. I looked around online and found this place and brought it in. First of all the place is very handsome with lots of wood around - not something one would even think about with this kind of shop..... but its great! Most importantly, very professional, honest, the mechanic came in to tell me what the problems were and he didnt talk down to me, he explained the issues so that I could understand (and believe me, I do my own valve adjustments on my race bikes.... I would have known if he were BSing me.... ). They finished the car and I went on my way. They made follow up calls to make sure the car was repaired as it should.... First class shop! I wish I lived closer! Thanks guys.

This was the first time in 23 yrs I took either of the two Acuras I've owned in that time to anyone other than an Acura Dealership for service. I wanted to wait and see how the car operated for a time, and a long highway (continued high speed driving) trip after Modesti's did the repair, and the car was beautiful! The only complaint I have is that after the repair work was finished and I had already approved the cost for what they were going to do, they told me there were a couple of other minor things they did which cost about $100 more, and when I asked in the beginning the total cost of all the repairs, they did not include what they had told me for the original minor work. So, communication needs to be more precise at the time of quoting a job so no surprises at the back end. That said, they did a good job on the repairs and I will return; I'll just make sure they are communicating everything to me in the beginning,so no surprises later.

I've gone to Modesti's for several years, and plan to keep going!

I am a new fan of Modesti's. I have talked to several folks that have been customers for decades and they all agree that you get quality service, education on what they are doing and for what reason, and no unnecessary work or sell on a job until you actually need it. They are also very personable, friendly and go out of their way to assure you are taken care of. Great Job ! keep on going, as places like this are few and appreciated!

As always the service was excellent & the work was done in a timely manner. I will continue to take my car there for all it's automotive needs. Also "thank you" for being so friendly & not talking down to a female customer.

I have taken several cars to Modesti's to be serviced and have always had a positive experience. The driver who takes me home and picks me up, Martin, is polite and friendly, Johnathan who writes up my bill is delightful.The workmanship is excellent. The shop is immaculate, the coffee good and the chairs to sit in if you are waiting are comfy.

been going here for years and they're friendly and trustworthy. my family also comes here and we've had no problems. there's a starbucks, 2 restaurants, and a little market less than 2 blocks away to kill time. will be coming here as long as i have a car they can service.

I've been taking my cars to Modesti's since 1987 and have never been disappointed or had a problem. I fell that their pricing has always been reasonable and fair. They do quality work. Their mechanics are extremely competent and the service staff are always helpful and informative. These guys know their stuff, are honest, and reliable.

I have been coming to Modesti's going on 2 years and have always been pleased with the service. Everyone is always friendly and has a bit of time to chat to get to know you and explains things well. I would recommend them to anyone.
