It was just an oil change, but it was just the service that was needed and that keeps the car running, now, past 200,000 miles. My car has been cared for by Modesti's all its life. I'm the second owner, and bought it off the old Modesti's bulletin board. Best purchase I ever made.

I took my car to get my brakes check. They were knowledgeable and mentioned that my car was burning lots of oil. What end up happening is the last place I took my car for an oil change did not put enough oil. They added extra oil needed and work some other things with my car. Excellent service and will come back again.

Modesti's is phenomenal. I still go there even since I moved to Pasadena. The staff is more than friendly and they always give me straight talk about which repairs are crucial and which ones are optional. They have a great maintenance schedule which has kept my Hondas without major repairs since I've been with them. I feel like I'm in good and capable hands with them. I can't recommend them enough.

professional & friendly & clean !!!! they will not take advantage of you especially a women !!!!they will not ad extras on - they will only due what is neccesary , that is a good feeling especially in todays economy.

I have been using them for 15+ years. Very honest, and fair.I'm really fussy... and they always make me happy.To the comments that diagnostic fees should go towards the repair - I disagree. They spend time finding the problem, then spend more time fixing it. Even when I have had very mysterious problems (old Nissan years ago) they worked hard to find the problem, and charged a low and fair fee in the end. i'm 110% happy. Highly recommended.p.s. Martin who drives the pickup and drop off shuttle (available if you live or work reasonably close) is a lovely guy. Great to chat with.One of our vehicles is older, and had a rash of breakdowns, and they give intelligent and moderate advice as to what to fix and what to wait on.... p.p.s. Nick Modesti (family run business) the manager is super great, as are all the guys i interface with at the counter - Jonathan and Danny.

We have been going to Modestis for 32 years. They kept our '78 Civic going for 315,000 miles and our '87 Civic going for 215,000 miles. Both were still running well when we sold them. Our '99 Accord has over 120,000 miles on it, so it's just a baby but we anticipate it will last as long as our other two cars! You can't do better than Modestis.

They are the most trustful mechanics in my life! Generous staffs who are very familiar to cars, give me detail explanation of what they will do to my car. They are very honest and NO pushy sales at all!! They will give you courtesy shuttle to drop you off AND pick you up! I highly recommend them!
